One of our handbell clappers has sadly been found to be bent and twisted.
Does anyone have a spare Shaws handbell clapper for a size 6 bell note E. The mouth of the bell is about 78mm external diameter.

(Those familiar with Shaws clapper design, will know that the shape is specific to that company, that was based in Bradford)

I am hoping that the clappers were produced fairly uniformly.
I would not wish to take one from a usable bell, but i know that some sets have been broken up and clappers may become surplus.)

It may be possible to straighten the current clapper. This does depend how bad it is. Surplus clappers are very rare so it would be best to repair.
